Worried About Persistent Swelling After Blepharoplasty

10 days ago, I had lower and upper eyelid blepharoplasty, there were hardly any bruises, initially one eye was very swollen, after 10 days it's still almost as swollen...... I'm sitting here thinking, maybe I'm worrying unnecessarily, the surgeon was good, my friends had work done by him - excellent results, but I'm worried that this swelling will stay..... Anyone else had this done? What are your stories?

My operation is in a couple of hours, I'm really scared of the pain and unpleasant sensations, I can't imagine how I'll cope, I'd like to be unconscious (local anaesthetic) everyone I've asked says it's not painful, so I'm wondering if I've decided too soon (21 years old) I really want to do beautiful make-up, draw eyeliner, with the eyelid giving a sad or angry look, and you can't explain to people that it's not up to me 😆 Tell me how the operation went, how you felt, can you start working after 2-3 days?
