23 year old deciding between holiday or blepharoplasty

Hello, girls! I've decided to hear your opinions 😊 Holiday from the 19th of May for two weeks. I'm unsure what's the best way to spend a certain amount of money, to go on a holiday or get blepharoplasty. I'm 23 years old, my eyes are a mess, they add +10 years to my age, my upper eyelids are constantly swollen, as if I'm drinking non-stop, and my lower ones are blue and with wrinkles. Today, I heard advice from a consultant to use eye cream, immediately thoughts about surgery came up. I've wanted it for a long time. What do you say? What do you think?

Experiencing Lump Under Eye Post Lower Eyelid Surgery

I had lower eyelid surgery on the 1st of July. The bruises have gone, but there's still a bit of swelling. There's a hard lump almost the entire length of the stitch under my left eye, but not on the right. The doctor said it's because a small haematoma formed during the operation. The lump isn't blue, it's a normal colour. Has anyone else had these lumps on their stitches? How long do they last? I'm going for physio.

Post-Blepharoplasty Wrinkles: Should I Get Collagen Injections?

I had a transconjunctival blepharoplasty of the lower eyelids (removed bags - hernias) eleven days ago. As a result, there are no hernias, I'm pleased, BUT! Wrinkles appeared under my eyes, which were not there before, and they're quite deep, really noticeable 😭 I'm 32 years old, wrinkles like a 45-year-old. Has anyone else experienced this and what to do about it? 11 days after the operation, maybe wait and believe that the wrinkles will still go away? Or should I already go to a cosmetologist and get collagen injections under the eyes (I've read good reviews) I ask for advice, I'm very upset about the wrinkles 😟 Has anyone had this? Will the wrinkles smooth out, maybe not enough time has passed after the operation? Or should I just go and get injections...

Experiencing Persistent Redness After Upper Eyelid Surgery

On the 10th of May, I had upper eyelid blepharoplasty surgery. On the 30th of May, I think I ate something off and I felt nauseous. The stitches turned a deep red, I wrote to the surgeon and she told me to apply hydrocortisone cream and heparin, alternating between them. After 5 days, they just turned slightly red. Today is the 7th of June and there's still some redness that won't go away. I'm worried, but the surgeon says everything is normal. On the 10th of June, I have a check-up with the surgeon and she'll tell me how to take care of the scars from here on, she'll prescribe other creams. Has anyone else experienced this, did the redness of the stitches go away? Unfortunately, I can't add a photo here.

Droopy Eyelids: Seeking Makeup Tips Before Resorting to Blepharoplasty

I've always had droopy eyelids, it's not an age-related change (still a bit early for that). My eyes seem small and heavy because of this, my gaze is closed. I've learned to slightly correct the droopy eyelid with shadows, I've had permanent eyebrow makeup done (the tip was slightly lifted so that the eyes wouldn't look sad, they were made a bit higher over the eyes) and eyelid contouring. But the problem still persists. Girls, how else can we try to compensate for these eyelids, share your experience! I feel I'll decide on blepharoplasty after all...

Seeking Advice for Increasing Under-eye Bag Problem

I'm nearing my thirties, and the circles under my eyes that I've had since childhood now seem to be getting worse, almost like bags. I see the same thing in my mother and older sister - their faces still look relatively young, but their under-eye areas really spoil their appearance. As far as I understand, the only truly effective radical solution is blepharoplasty. But I guess it's not worth doing until you're 35-40. So how do you hold up until that age? Please share what helps you - maybe it's massage, maybe a special cream, maybe injections under the eyelid skin? Thanks

Concerns Post Lower Blepharoplasty: Seeking Similar Experiences

Hello, esteemed ladies. It's been 1.5 months since my op (lower blepharoplasty + canthoplasty). I'm really worried that the outer corners of my eyes are still very much drooping, even though the noticeable swelling has long gone. The surgeon says it's too early to evaluate the result, by the 3-4 month mark the eyes will "settle" into place. I'm bracing myself with patience, waiting. But I would like to hear the stories of other girls who have had lower blepharoplasty. Have you experienced drooping of the outer corners of the eyes? How long did it take for your eyes to "settle" into place? Was a repeat surgical intervention required? In general, I would be glad to read your stories.

Unhappy with Blepharoplasty and Eyebrow Lift Results, Seeking Advice

Hello. A month ago, I had a circular blepharoplasty + endoscopic eyebrow lift. I'm not happy with the result. At first, my upper eyelids scared me, as my eyes were too slanted and the eyelids didn't fully close for about 2 weeks. Now it has somewhat dropped, but now my lower eyelids scare me. They're being pulled down and the whites of my eyes are very visible. It all looks quite sad. If anyone has experienced the same, please tell me, will the lower eyelid change over time, will it return to its previous shape??? Moreover, this became noticeable closer to the month, initially it wasn't there, that's what scares me. The doctor always has the same answer - wait, everything is fine 😟.
