Seeking Advice for Treating Nose Scars from Spots

I don't know how it happened, honestly, I don't even remember what spots were there, but after them, two chipped scars remained on the wing of my nose. It looks like a hole after a piercing roughly, only, naturally not all the way through. It looks awful, foundation only emphasises these pits😟. The only option with cosmetologists is grinding. Moreover, I think they know perfectly well that such scars are not treated with grinds(well or it will take about 10 years for this). Because grinding such a millimetre of skin is impossible. Has anyone had something similar, what helped?

21-year-old Shares Stress-Triggered Acne Experience and Recovery

Good day to all! I decided to create a topic that has been discussed on this site more than once, but I hope that my experience will be somewhat useful to someone, or perhaps someone will recognise themselves in it. So, I am 21 years old. I had teenage acne at school, but it quickly disappeared, leaving no scars or spots on my face. I think that many teenagers at school had facial inflammations, and it didn't bother me much, because mostly my skin was clear. Then I went to university, and in the first year there was some important first exam and sitting in the lecture hall on the day of the exam, I felt pimples appearing on my face at that moment. When I got home, my mum was horrified by the state of my face, because my once perfect white skin was suddenly covered in pimples! Moreover, they were not only all over my face, but also on my back, arms and other parts of the body. I looked as if I had chickenpox, although I had had it before. The next day we rushed to the dermatologist at the clinic. She said that it was most likely a reaction of the body to stress, caused by worries about studies. She prescribed me calming tablets, ointments and Zineryt. After a few days of using these medicines, my face began to return to normal. Soon, the skin became perfect again, but I continued to use Zineryt for prevention. Then I abandoned it, I could occasionally have a few inflammations on my face, but it was not scary. I never had any scars or spots from pimples. And now, the most important part of my story begins. I want to describe to you in detail the history of my disease, friends, in case any of you have encountered the same problem. The following year, I broke up with my first boyfriend. I was very stressed at that time.

Teenager Seeks Advice on Plasma Lifting for Severe Acne

I'm 16 years old, have had teenage acne and pimples since I was 12. On my face, shoulders and back. Recently, they've appeared on my ears and neck, following an unsuccessful mechanical cleansing. I've seen many doctors, tried many things, including retinoids. Recently, I visited a gynaecologist and she prescribed birth control pills for 6 months, starting in March (from the 1st day of the cycle). I read on the internet about plasma lifting, that it also helps, etc., so I decided that I would additionally go for plasma lifting, I booked for the end of March. But lately, I've had doubts, what if it doesn't help? After all, it's painful, time-consuming and costly. I'm just at the end of my tether and want to help my body to get rid of painful, large acne. Maybe it's because of this that we agree to such procedures, out of desperation. I've already had many sad experiences. I decided to listen to opinions about plasma lifting. Please share your experiences. Thanks to everyone!

Seeking Advice on Plasma Lifting for Persistent Acne

For several years now, my teenage acne, spots, haven't cleared up. They leave behind post-acne, scars. It's very unpleasant, painful. I've seen many cosmetologists, dermatologists and have tried just about everything over the years, from ordinary ointments to retinoids, completed a course of antibiotics and isotretinoin (under the prescription and supervision of a dermatologist), there was improvement during the medication, but then it all started again. I took isotretinoin with a cumulative dose. I have skincare products, I used to use decorative cosmetics, now I haven't used it for at least half a year. I follow a diet. I've checked my organs, done a lot of tests, even testosterone, everything is fine. I understand that this will pass with time, but it's very hard to endure all this and they leave scars. I was advised to do plasma lifting, at least twice. They said it suits those who have been treated for a long time and without success. I would like to hear reviews, maybe someone has gone through plasma lifting, how was the result for you? Did it help? Did the acne return after it? I hope for understanding and adequate answers.

Experienced Allergic Reaction to Systemic Retinoids, Need Advice

Hello! Here's the situation. I've been treating acne for 7 years, a multitude of methods were tried under doctors' supervision, but topical therapy didn't have an effect. I made a decision with my doctor - to start taking systemic retinoids. After 20 days of use, my hands broke out severely with an allergic papular rash, it's itchy. I consulted a dermatologist - it's toxidermia, I'm not tolerating these tablets well. The dosage was almost the smallest - 20 mg. I stopped taking them, I'm following the regimen set by the doctor - sorbents, antihistamine drugs, etc. Has anyone had such an experience? When switching from isotretinoin to acitretin, did the same problems in the form of a rash reappear? Thank you for your attention and response!

Is 56mg Isotretinoin Daily for Mild Acne Excessive?

Knowledgeable folks, could you please advise, a dermatologist has prescribed me to take 56mg of Isotretinoin daily, for a course of 6.5 months. Although my acne is mild, it hasn't responded to any other forms of therapy, and I weigh 60kg. Has the doctor prescribed too high a dose?
