Collagen injection
Sculptra is a type of injectable soft tissue implant that contains poly-L-lactic acid, a biocompatible material that is safe for the body and works naturally with your skin to rebuild lost collagen. Sculptra is an excellent treatment for a range of facial problems. It is used to correct areas that appear hollow or gaunt, restore volume due to facial weight loss and ageing, re-plump saggy skin that has lost collagen caused by age or illness, and also restore facial symmetry. It can likewise decrease prominent neck veins, fortify cheekbones, and restore skin tautness, while diminishing creases extend across the face to generate a more youthful look.
Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Scupltra moves with your face as you laugh and smile. It adjusts as you age, which in turn allows a more natural look over time with the changes to your facial contours. Sculptra leaves you looking not frozen or overly young but like an enhanced and slightly more youthful version of yourself.
Approximately 30 minutes of sculptra aesthetic treatment, plus about an hour to one and a half hours for topical anaesthetic cream to take effect. Changes will begin to set in at 6 weeks, with visible results usually peaking somewhere between the 8 and 12 week mark.
