The many types

Online Consultation

Patients can easily get medical advice and solutions to their skin problems by communicating with a general practitioner via phone call or video conferencing. They can comfortably discuss anything about their skin issues in their home. Online consultation is ideal for minor skin problems and discussing treatment options, as well as follow-ups, before getting an in-person visit.

You can use the following for online consultation.

For Smartphone users:

  • WhatsApp (for Android users)
  • FaceTime (for iPhone users)

If you are using a desktop or laptop

  • Zoom conferencing

Face-to-face consultation

You need to visit the clinic for a face-to-face consultation. Your doctor will evaluate your skin condition, do a physical exam, and treatments. A face-to-face consultation is ideal for complicated medical conditions and cosmetic operations. It is also effective if thorough physical examinations and blood testing are needed.

1
Consultation

It is preferable to begin with a consultation where expectations regarding the procedure, necessary preparations, and actions to be taken before, during, and after the treatment are established.

2
Preparation

We are now focused on all the preparations that must be made, ensuring everything proceeds smoothly financially, emotionally, and physically before the procedure begins.

3
Treatment

During the treatment, incisions are made in front of the ears and along the hairline to access the underlying facial muscles and tissues. The excess skin is then carefully removed, resulting in a smoother, more youthful appearance.

Understanding Care Options
What is the difference between NHS GP with Private GP when it comes to cosmetic treatment?

The NHS GP focuses only on medical problems linked to skin diseases like acne or scars. It only recommends treatments when it is medically necessary. Pure aesthetic treatments like face and body cosmetic surgery are not typically covered by the NHS GP.

On the other hand, private doctors can be consulted on a variety of cosmetic concerns. They can also refer patients to the specialists as needed. A private GP is more flexible and easy to access. A private GP is more costly than an NHS GP.
