How do lipogems work?

Who is the ideal candidate?
Our surgeons will establish if you are a candidate for Lipogems during your consultation. We will take your medical history, including your complaints, medications, and any allergies you may have.
It is unlikely you would not be a candidate as your very own fat cells are being used in the treatment.
However, if you have an allergy to any of the anaesthesia products being offered or if you're a preoperative patient with medical conditions that cannot support anaesthesia, Lipogems may not be right for you. Additionally, you cannot have Lipogems if you are breastfeeding or pregnant.
Can a risk be prevented?
Lipogems is a procedure with low pain and high rewards for many patients. Just like any other method of fat removal, it can cause mild inflammation that can lead to bruising, redness, and tenderness. Since Lipogems addresses smaller areas, the quantity of fat removed is minimal, which reduces adverse effects overall.
