Treatments for removal of keloid scar can be minor, which can be durations ranging from 15 minutes to an hour depending on the treatment option. The majority of people will be able to return to normal activities throughout a couple of days.
You will have a sterile dressing covering the wound after keloid treatment. You may need pain medication, and your doctor will make a follow-up appointment to assess healing.
