Most patients should go up about a cup size, on average. There are a few factors at play here, first and foremost being how much fat can be harvested from elsewhere on your body for transfer to the breasts. Basically, if you are already very lean without a lot of extra fat to burn then it can be hard to get enough in for too much of an increase. Again, the location of fat is important because fat from softer areas like the lower belly works better than fat harvesting from tough and fibrous regions. Another factor is skin elasticity, which we have alluded to in earlier points. If your skin is tight, you may not be able to get as much fat again compared with someone who has loose skin that they can take a lot more fat.
You will not see your post-op results for three to six months, at which point the swelling has subsided and you can evaluate how fat transfer breast augmentation made an impact on enhancing your breast appearance. About 300-400cc is enough fat for each breast to show some change. Occasionally a secondary procedure may be required to add more fat to the breasts as not all of the injected fat tissue becomes part of your natural breast tissue.
