We’ve reconnected with one of our patients, the lovely Trudie Day, to get a little insight into her experience with the Silhouette Soft Lift. Most importantly, though, we wanted to make sure that beaming smile was still intact. Here’s what Trudie had to say…
Several of my friends had been to the Harley Street Skin Clinic and were so happy with their results, so after that I was definitely curious. One friend in particular had had a Silhouette Soft Lift and she just looked amazing – but also very natural. After seeing her results I decided it was about time that I booked a consultation for myself!
I was delighted with the instant result, and after a few weeks when everything had settled down, I was even more amazed at how natural it looked.
I had my consultation with Lesley through recommendation. I was quite nervous about having anything done, but Lesley totally relaxed me and gave me several options for treatments that would give me the best results. What made my mind up was the fact that she was not pushy at all. She explained everything thoroughly to me and I went away with all of the costs to decide in my own time. That impressed me most. I knew after that I was in good hands.
I arrived an hour before my treatment to have anaesthetic cream applied to my face. I was able to sit and read a magazine in a private room and have a coffee – it was all very relaxing, actually. After an hour my face had gone numb and I went in to see Dr Khan, where he inserted the threads into each side of my lower face and neck. I didn’t feel any pain at all, just a little gentle tugging and afterwards a bit of tightness.
To be honest, I didn’t expect it to look so natural and still get such great lift. Afterwards, friends would say to me “Wow, you look really well!” without knowing I’d had anything done. That’s the biggest perk for me – it’s so subtle. As a model it was very important for me not to come out looking completely different from my photographs on my agency’s website. I got exactly what I wanted from the thread lift: a really natural-looking lift to my lower face.
