Do you remember the very moment you decided to go ahead with treatment?

It was the big 4-0. Before turning 40, I had never had any cosmetic procedures. I’ve always taken care of my skin and have always felt confident but the career I chose is about looking as good as I can, so I do notice any age-related changes. When I got asked to be the face of Ellanse, I thought ‘why not!’

They say life begins at 40, that’s so true. I feel great.

What were your problem areas?

As you get older the collagen in your face drops a bit. With the filler that I had done, it just lifts the jaw line slightly and gives you a fresh-faced look.

I was starting to see the little lines from my nose to my mouth deepening, too. Dr Khan advised me that a little filler injected into my cheek would lift and smooth out the lines and it worked instantly!

Happy with the results?

Since the treatment it’s been brilliant, just so happy. And the reactions have been incredible as well. Who doesn’t love to hear people saying you look good? Bring it on

What was it about The Harley Street Skin Clinic that took your fancy?

I’ve been going to Harley Street Skin for several years now, and can honestly say that my skin wouldn’t look so good If I hadn’t taken all the advice from Dr Khan, Lesley and the team at the clinic.

The treatments that Dr Khan and Lesley do are fantastic – there is such a variation. Not only do they do all these wonderful treatments, but they also make you feel so welcome.

The clinic itself is beautiful, too, and environment is very important.

Can you tell us a little bit about the procedure day?

It all started with the consultation where Dr Khan explained everything very clearly to me. Then on the day, the procedure itself only took 10 minutes.

Within seconds I could see fantastic results. I was quite taken aback, actually.

Have there been any perks that you weren't expecting?

The perks are incredible. Where do I start?

Fresher, clearer, beautiful skin…

People saying that I look young and fresh…

I feel much better making the school run on the mornings when I don’t have time to apply any makeup, too! There’s no faffing around in the morning, I can just get up and go.

That was actually part of the appeal. Ellansé is quick and the results are instant.

What would you tell people who were on the fence about taking a similar route?

I would tell people: ‘it’s up to you if you want to do it’. After all, it’s only you that knows.

If you are going to do it, though, I’d really recommend that you had your consultation with Lesley or Dr Khan.

I personally I found it told me everything I needed to know.

Do that first, and then decide.

Would you consider popping back to the clinic in the future?

As a matter of fact, I’m going back next week for a lovely facial!

Dr Khan’s recommendations always deliver, and I trust him. I’d obviously never had anything done before and I so it was important it looked natural.

He was so right about Ellansé. It’s got this really natural feel to it and it even gave a little bit of lift – it’s exactly what I asked for.

I still look like me, just better. I left the clinic feeling wonderful – I always do.
