Unsuccessful Attempts with Cosmoterus Peels: No Visible Results

Good day to you. Not too long ago, I created a topic with the same title, before trying this method, and now I want to share the results (or rather, complain about their absence). I'm using two peels from Cosmoterus: a 30% almond pH 1.5 and a 70% glycolic pH 2.4. The procedures were carried out every 3-4 days. The almond one was first. Three procedures - zero results. Instead of the 4-6 minutes stated on the bottle, I kept it on for 30 to 45 minutes each time. It didn't sting, didn't turn red (except maybe a little around the nostrils), there was no peeling at all. I couldn't even achieve the slightest flaking. Well, next was the glycolic. Yesterday I did the second procedure. Instead of the stated 1-3 minutes - 10-15 minutes (I didn't dare leave the glycolic on for half an hour, just in case) - zero results. And, note, both peels are among the strongest in terms of concentration available in the category of superficial peels in general. I wanted to order 0.7 pH instead of 2.4 pH right away, but they dissuaded me, saying it's too wild to use such at home. The result after five procedures - a slight facial glow. That's it. No side effects, no expected result. I didn't even use a neutraliser, just washed it off with water. The expected results were: to remove a few post-acne from the cheeks and temples and a couple of very small atrophic scars after the same pimples. The result is COMPLETELY absent. I think even clay and badyaga masks would have given more results in these two weeks. Tell me, am I doing something wrong? The peel is a quality French one. It was ordered from a cosmetologist, not just anywhere. I read reviews on various recommend ru and others (truly unbiased) resources. Someone removes post-acne with a few procedures of 5% (!) peel, and someone with a peel comparable in effectiveness to mine - after one or two procedures, the face is unrecognisable. How!? I don't even know what to do next. Total disappointment ☹️.

I've always been certain that ordering cosmetics from a beautician is just "anywhere". Buy from the manufacturer next time, or in shops. Most likely you were sold either a fake, or an expired product, or the beautician replaced and diluted the contents, they often sin in this way.

I have a 20% salicylic peel from Skinlabolatory. I bought it in the spring and only managed to use it 3 times before the sun became too strong. Even then, there was some light peeling. Try this brand, the reviews are good, they deliver by post, and they have different peels. I also have a sun protection emulsion and a serum from this brand, which I like.

Isn't it a bit early for the glycolic peel season? And what kind of homegrown beautician is selling peels for home use? I'm a beautician myself, but I don't leave my client for a minute when doing a peel and I strictly follow all the instructions. Moreover, one needs to prepare for peels. You'd better stick to your own sponge. For acne and post-acne, other acids are needed.

Blimey, 75% and it doesn't help!! You should only resort to peels in a salon and evidently, a good pre-peel preparation is needed. For me, retasol is enough, and it has a much-much lower concentration, although I do a course - I apply it for 10 days straight because the concentration is small, but the effect is undoubtedly visible and there is peeling.
