Girls, I'm seeking advice from those who have already had <a href="https://www.harleystreetskinclinic.com/treatment/blepharoplasty/">blepharoplasty</a>. I'm going in for upper eyelid surgery on the 20th of December. Please advise on how best to prepare, what to buy for wound care afterwards, the clinic said to just buy these gel pads and nothing else. If anyone has any tips, please advise, I'm terribly scared....

I'm two weeks post-circular. Specific advice: go on a diet 5 days before, only healthy food. Reduce your drinking 3 days prior, and drink very little on the day. The aim is minimal swelling and bruising. No coffee or tea at all. I went into surgery practically staggering from hunger and thirst. But.... Not a single bruise afterwards, slight swelling for a couple of days. There was some yellowing, from day 3 I applied my mum's propolis tincture compresses and then Leoton. It went away quickly. Leoton became my friend right after the surgery, I applied it all around the healthy skin. Buy some Furacilin solution, it will become your friend, as you'll need to rinse your eyes and around them all the time, eye drops with antibiotics. In general, the first few days after surgery are simply hellish.
