Seeking Advice for First Acne Treatment Procedure

I've had acne for 3 years now, and only in the 3rd year have I decided to visit a cosmetologist. Girls, could you advise which procedure I should go for first? Also, has anyone undergone laser acne treatment, did it help?

You cannot take Roaccutane on your own, it's a very serious drug, it's only prescribed for severe acne, under strict doctor's supervision, and the dosage is also individually selected by the doctor. You're a teenager, at this age the secretion of sebum increases, which clogs the pores, forming spots, and when bacteria get there, inflammation starts, that is, a pimple itself forms. If you use Benzoyl Peroxide, or other antimicrobial agents, they will eliminate pimples while you use them, as they fight bacteria, but not the cause of their appearance. Therefore, I advise you to buy Retasol at the pharmacy, which reduces the secretion of sebum, normalises its composition and facilitates its evacuation, and it can be used from the age of 11. It not only eliminates pimples, but also prevents the appearance of new ones.

For treating spots, there's a gold standard - acids, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide! Buy Adapalene or Differin from the pharmacy, it regulates the activity of the sebaceous glands and treats acne and post-acne, rejuvenates the skin, slows down ageing. Read about it, it's a wonderful remedy, but you need to use it correctly as skin not accustomed to retinoids will initially peel, this is normal and will soon pass when the skin gets used to it, but you should start using it cautiously 1-2 times a week and gradually increase to daily use. Also add a salicylic toner without alcohol or with a small amount of it, salicylic acid unlike other acids not only cleans the skin surface, but also the pore from the inside. You can also buy a mild peel and do it yourself every couple of weeks. And benzoyl peroxide, also helps well or another product with benzoyl peroxide in the composition. You can apply Adapalene (thin layer) one day, and benzoyl peroxide the other day. Just bear in mind that these remedies, although effective (in fact, they are the most effective on the global market for external acne treatment), they will dry out the skin, plus from Adapalene there will initially be peeling, so you will need good moisturising care and soothing remedies, for example, panthenol and hydrocortisone cream (it very quickly relieves inflammation in 1-2 applications). If you overdo it and the skin turns red, then apply the cream and reduce usage, adjust for yourself so that there is no discomfort, but do not abandon the treatment. The skin will get used to Adapalene quite quickly and the effect from it is also quick, the main thing is to endure the acclimatisation at the beginning, then there will be no discomfort. Benzoyl peroxide will dry out, but this is compensated by good care, you don't have to endure dryness, drying out the skin does not help in acne treatment. After applying Adapalene or Benzoyl peroxide, wait half an hour and apply care, and at night you can use shea butter, it goes well with peeling.

But there's no need for facials, neither at home nor at a beautician's, squeezing spots isn't a treatment and it doesn't prevent new ones from appearing, it only spreads infection and damages the skin. With regular use of acids, Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide, pores will stay clean on their own, and soon spots will disappear and there will be no need to squeeze or pick at anything. When the situation improves, Benzoyl Peroxide can be excluded. But acids and retinoids are good for any skin, even problem-free, in any case, the skin needs to be regularly exfoliated.

Retasol is enough for me, I wipe my face with it, my pores have tightened, there's no oily shine. Also, touch your face less with your hands, I don't know if it's just me with this silly habit, the cosmetologist said to urgently wean myself off this.
