Good day! I'm scheduled for the removal of a <a href="https://www.harleystreetskinclinic.com/treatment/mole-removal/">conjunctival nevus</a> (a mole on the white of the eye) as it's growing. I'm quite concerned about the recovery and the possibility of getting back behind the wheel. The doctors explained that I'd be off work for a week, after which I could return to normal life and the operation wouldn't affect my vision. I'm curious about how the recovery actually goes after eye surgeries, whether there are any complications and, most importantly, how soon I can drive again? I'm also interested in whether you or anyone you know has had moles on their eyes, as I understand this is quite a rare "luxury".

You can drive a car only when your vision becomes suitable for driving, and no one can tell you in advance when that will be. I had a standard Lasik, they didn't give me any sick leave at all, I had to cover this time with holiday, they let me back to work after 3 days. But they only officially allowed me to drive after a month. due to dry eyes, which is a side effect of antibiotics. So with driving... well, we'll see how it goes.
