Mole Removal via Electrocoagulation: Experiences and Safety?

I've booked in for a mole removal via electrocoagulation. It's a bit scary, as the mole is almost on my temple. There are a lot of blood vessels there. The mole is about 6 mm. Has anyone else had this done? Would it be safer with a laser?

I myself had two lymph nodes removed about 4 years ago. I wanted to send my husband to do the same but my mum told me a story about a lad at their work who had a small mole removed from his forehead and it turned out to be cancerous. He died, leaving his wife and two little children as orphans. I forbid everyone to remove moles. People, it's so dangerous! God forbid!

I too had laser removal in the underarm and chest area, I was very scared, doubted for a long time whether to remove or not, but then I decided and now I don't regret it. Everything was removed so well, it healed quickly. I would advise first to find out everything: which doctor will be removing, i.e. how good a specialist he is, what type of laser is used for the procedures and so on. First, consult with a doctor!

My husband had a mole surgically removed. On his head. The mole was roughly 1 cm. in diameter. The inconvenience was that he couldn't put on a shower cap for several days... Because he couldn't wash his hair. Now everything has healed. We just constantly apply ointments to speed up the healing and dissolve the scar.
