@c_tambay · 4 days agoI've got a bit of a harsh method, but it's effective. I've been using it for the second month now, and the results are immediately visible. So here's how it goes: I lather up my legs and bikini area really well with baby soap, and then I scrub with a pumice stone. Well, when I say scrub... I mean gently, so it doesn't hurt or sting, but feels like a nice massage. Ladies, you need to be careful, because once I overdid it and scratched my legs!!! Then, I apply moisturising creams or lotion to my damp skin. If anyone wants to try it, take note: you need to lather up really, really well, so that the pumice stone glides easily. I'm pleased with the result.

@m.kawecki · 3 days agoSalt disinfects micro scratches. Try bicarbonate of soda to start with, it's quite gentle. Then a mixture of water + sea salt. And then you can use pure sea salt. It's a matter of habit. But massage very carefully!

@ftomos · 3 days agoExfoliation against ingrown hairs, in my opinion, is utter nonsense. Perhaps it does remove the hardened layer of skin, but it's unlikely to help with ingrown hairs. And it's a bit greasy to be smearing exfoliants on your legs. I use a loofah glove on steamed skin, and everything's just fine.
