What is Forma ?
Forma is an advanced fractional radio-frequency treatment providing anti-ageing improvements on skin tone and texture, for a more radiant appearance.
The treatment can be used in areas that have fine or deep wrinkles, scars or discolored red and brown skin tone, with the most common areas of treatment being the lower eyelid, upper eyelid, smile lines, cheeks, mouth and neck.
Forma can help to tighten saggy skin on the eyelids, face, neck, décolleté and hands. The skin is heated by placing a small handle against the skin. Radiofrequency energy is passed through a series of tiny bipolar pins. This heats the skin and causes tiny pin-prick holes that the body naturally repairs. Special protocols using Forma treatments have been developed by Dr. Khan, that can significantly improve the appearance of stretch marks.
You may be slightly red, but there is not really any downtime with Forma, moisturiser and makeup may be applied immediately after each treatment and its back to daily life.
How many treatments will you need?
The number of treatments is typically six sessions, once a week and may vary individually. Dry and thin skin may require up to eight sessions, but for many four sessions are giving good results.
Asian skin that is more fibrotic and may require 8-10 sessions.
Single maintenance sessions may be needed every 1-3 months to retain results.
Tightening – Skin tightening is the most visible around the chin and jawline, nose to mouth lines , cheeks and around the eyes.
