This reshaping procedure can tackle the problem of lumpy, bumpy irregularities and provide a smoother body contour. It is a more invasive procedure carried out under local anaesthesia, as Cellutite uses radio-frequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to reduce fat and tighten tissue. During the procedure a small probe is introduced under the skin, which delivers high energy radiofrequency to destroy the fat, break down the fibrous bands and tighten the skin.
Cellutite is suitable for moderate to severe cellulite (as we get older the cellulite becomes more fibrous and unsightly permanent dimples and creases are present.) Support garments are worn for six weeks afterwards, but normal daily activities can be resumed within twelve hours.
You know what it looks like: dimpled, uneven skin that appears on your thighs and other parts of your body. Cellulite affects the vast majority of women, usually after puberty. Many believe cellulite to be a fat problem that can be eliminated through diet and exercise. But as you may have learned through experience, you can lessen the appearance of cellulite by losing weight, but you can’t get rid of it completely. And crash diets can actually make it worse.
It’s not your fault. Fat isn’t the problem. It’s a structural issue below the skin that only your physician can treat. That’s why men typically don’t get cellulite. The structure of their skin is different from women’s. This also explains why even very thin women can get cellulite, and why some heavier women don’t.
What causes Cellulite?
There are three structural problems that cause the appearance of cellulite. First, the connective tissue bands beneath your skin surrounding fat cells can become tight and inflexible. Second, enlarged pockets of fat trapped by the rigid bands push up against skin. Finally, thin skin makes the appearance of cellulite even worse. And you know what that means—the dimpled, orange peel look that makes you cringe.
Other factors associated with cellulite are aging, heredity, hormones, weight and gender differences in skin architecture. That’s why any effective cellulite treatment has to address more than fat and the surface of skin.
Unfortunately, woman are prone to cellulite, and there is really was nothing we can do about that, until now, and now we have CelluTite.
CelluTite for Cellulite is more effective with one treatment than any other technique and the only treatment to significantly and permanently reduce cellulite, you can expect to see a 40-50% improvement after 4-6 weeks.
How is CelluTite for Cellulite performed?
The CelluTite cannula uses heat, just like the Bodytite and Facetite to tighten and shrink the skin. The CelluTite cannula cuts the fibrous septa that pull the skin in and flattens the raised, bulging pockets of fat. It warms the skin to tighten and thicken it using RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) the dips are reduced, the bulges are flattened and the skin tightens to give a smoother finish. CelluTite also prevents these fibres from re-attaching because it has a hollow cannula, and it sucks out the liquid fat simultaneously.
This surgery is performed under local anaesthesia.
How many treatments will you need?
Only one treatment is required but after six weeks, a course of six TiteFX treatments are advised in order to get maximum results.
What’s the recovery period after CelluTite for Cellulite?
As with most minimally invasive cosmetic procedures, you will need to take time to recover. The recovery period will be different for each patient depending on the extent of the surgery, the area of the body, and the patient’s health.
After the CelluTite for Cellulite procedure, you can expect to see bruising, swelling and soreness but be able to perform light activity right away. Full recovery will take between 4-6 weeks.
Are there any risks with CelluTite for Cellulite?
During your consultation the medical team will clearly outline all of the necessary precautions you need to take, as well as any postoperative limitations you should follow. Harley Street Skin staff take every necessary precaution to minimise any risk involved with all cosmetic procedures.
The destruction of the cellulite-producing cells is permanent and the texture of your skin will be left smoother with visible results after six-twelve weeks.
Further results can also be seen over six-twelve months.

Reaction™ offers maximum treatment control and the consistent penetration of heat using CORE™ technology which incorporates multi-channel RF with vacuum therapy to initiate three different processes: deep tissue heating, mechanical stretch and mechanical massage.
Each of CORE™’s four treatment modes applies a specific frequency that targets different tissue depths, from superficial layers of the skin to the hypodermis. The application of RF energy to the dermis and subcutaneous layers deploys heat to underlying tissues to:
- Increase diffusivity of oxygen released by blood cells and increase cell metabolism.
- Break down rigid collagen cross links, increase skin elasticity and improve skin texture.
The increased temperature to the treatment area facilitates the breakdown of stored energy (triglycerides) in the fat cell and when released, they result in the shrinkage of the fat cell volume
Along with the benefits of an effective cellulite treatment, the deep heating of subcutaneous tissue initiates a mechanical stretch in the skin caused by electrical pulses released from the RF electrodes.
This action enhances gene expression and stimulates fibroblasts to enhance collagen secretion and improves the elasticity of the septae, resulting in a significant skin tightening effect!
Finally, the addition of mechanical vacuum therapy further intensifies the treatment by facilitating deeper penetration of heat to sub-dermal tissue as well as increases local blood circulation, promotes lymphatic drainage and lipolysis. The result is a minimised appearance of lumpy skin, improved skin texture and a reduction in circumference.
The selection of a specific RF mode according to the treated body site and the customisation of RF and vacuum intensity levels ensure the most accurate treatment every time.
Fibroblasts are the major cells in the dermis which produce collagen and elastin fibers. The thickness of the dermis varies from person to person and is affected by age, exposure to sun, cigarette smoke and environmental pollution among other factors. With time, cross links are formed between the collagen strands rendering the fiber less and less elastic. This process leads to the first visible signs of ageing on the face including uneven skin tone and texture, wrinkles and folds around the eyes and mouth, and stretch marks on various areas of the body.
The Reaction™ Skin Tightening procedure utilises RF energy to assist in breaking the rigid collagen cross links, to strengthen skin’s elasticity and enhance collagen secretion over time.
The procedure is suitable for areas of the face including the jowls, cheeks and forehead as well the sensitive areas around the eyes, neck and décolleté. And now, Reaction™’s skin tightening procedures can also treat stretch marks and lax skin on various areas of the body such as the tummy, underarm, calves and hips.
The Skin Tightening applicator incorporates an integrated cooling mechanism during the treatment that creates a safe environment for protection of the epidermal layer while focusing the heat at underlying tissue.
The Reaction device has FDA clearance.
